Ukrainische Ostereier • Ukranian Easter eggs

Die Haspa-Filiale Wandsbek bot passend zur Osterzeit an, etwas über die traditionellen ukrainische Ostereier zu erfahren. Die ukrainische Künstlerin Julia Grinchuk (Юлія Грінчук) hielt per Video-Konferenz einen Vortrag mit Beispielen und Frau Maruniak übersetzte. Gleichzeitig konnten wir selbst Ostereier bemalen.

Mein besonderer Dank an alle, die sich für ein Gespräch Zeit nahmen und an Herrn Müthel und sein Team, das diese Veranstaltung ermöglichte. Es war die erste dieser Art in der Filiale Wandsbek. Wir können auf zukünftige Veranstaltungen gespannt sein.

In keeping with the Easter season, Haspa's Wandsbek branch offered to learn about traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs. The Ukrainian artist Julia Grinchuk (Юлія Грінчук) gave a lecture with examples via video conference and Ms Maruniak translated. At the same time we could paint Easter eggs ourselves.

My special thanks to everyone who took the time to talk to me, and to Mr Müthel and his team for making this event possible. It was the first of its kind at the Wandsbek branch. We can look forward to future events.
